This book is so good is about 3 boys and one girl that are friends and {}Spoiler alert if you haven't read the book{} The girl's name is Nola and there are 3 boys that all all best friends and one day the swift boys dad and mom got in a argument and the swift boys dad left to somewhere then all the swift boys were really sad and they kind of changed because of it so Nola did not want them to be sad and WANTED to find out where the swift boys dad has gone and what happened to him later then Nola asked mom if she could go to her grandma's house for spending time with her or cleaning and the reason she actually wanted to go to her grandma's house is because she wanted to see if the swift boys dad is if there dad is dating some one else and she also wanted to find out id the swift boys dad is living with some one else>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> then later on Nola went back to her house she did find some clues if the swift boys dad is dating or living with some one else when Nola went to the swift boys house her best best friend was well not talking to her and for some reason he was mad at her when Nola went to his room she tried to talk to him but he did not talk back to her and also his room was very dirty the boy got mad and pused Nola out of the room and shut the door on Nola's face right in FRONT of HER {}SO MEAN{} after all that few days later Nola was in a shop and the boy that was her BEST BEST FRIEND was there with the boys that bullied Nola. Nola went over to her best friend and asked why are you hanging out with them and he said nothing then the buliies started saying stuff to Nola and the lady that works there in the shop told all the boys to go out from the shop

2 stars-- I tried. I actually tried to like this poorly written, overrated "classic", but to be honest...I HATED EVERY PAGE. Anne of Green Gables made me want to scream and punch a pillow. By page 100, I was half-dead with boredom, and my eyes hurt from rolling them so much. Okay, I know what you're probably thinking: "But this book is a CLASSIC. Why don't YOU try to write a novel before criticizing the work of L.M. Montgomery?" Well, guess what? I'm allowed to have an opinion! But what exactly made me hate Anne of Green Gables so much? THE CHARACTERS. I strongly disliked EVERY. SINGLE. CHARACTER in this book, especially Anne Shirley. Anne is too talkative, dumb, annoying, superficial, insensitive...the list goes on. She has a "big imagination", which is just her excuse for acting like someone who drinks too much caffeine for breakfast. And did I mention her really, really short temper? I mean, she held a grudge for YEARS on this guy in her class named Gilbert, because he--gasp!--called her "carrots", making fun of her red hair. OMG, he called her "carrots"? That's SUCH a horrible thing to say! It's DEFINITELY a good reason to stop talking to him, even though he repeatedly apologized and even SAVED ANNE FROM DROWNING ONE TIME! Yeah, Gilbert's the bad guy here. (In case you couldn't tell, I'm being very sarcastic). Also, Anne is super insensitive. She always impulsively says and does whatever she wants to say and do, without realizing that she might be hurting people's feelings. She has a big imagination...and a big mouth. The other characters in the book were not much better than Anne. Her best friend Diana doesn't seem to have a personality--she's one of those characters who exists solely because she's pretty. She just does whatever Anne does. Anne's friend Ruby is superficial and boy-crazy, and her other friend Jane is boring. Gilbert's alright, I guess--but his crush on Anne is SO OBVIOUS. Marilla and Mathew, Anne's adoptive parents, are the only characters I don't completely hate, as they undergo some character development. I might have actually liked Anne of Green Gables if it weren't for the characters. The world-building and plot are okay, and storyline is interesting. This would've been a good book if the characters were more relatable, realistic, and developed. I know I'm expressing an unpopular opinion, but this is how I truly feel about Anne of Green Gables.

I want this book because I think it is cool how people are finding new ways to reuse trash. I also love every single one of National Geographic books. One of my favorites is the weird but true series. I also think that the magazines are also very interesting, as well as the documentaries. My favorite documentary is the one on cloning!

Set in a small town in Australia, The Deadly Daylight tells about how a 12-year-old named Alice England tries to solve the mystery of a man's puzzling death from sunlight. The main character works at her family's funeral parlor, and she has a very strange relationship with dead people. It goes like this. A mysterious hum resonates from an object of importance to the deceased, and then she is transported into a little snapshot of the person's life. This shall be important later on... She meets a person named Violet, who, like her, has little friends, but is different in many ways. Moreover, she has a dangerous sunlight allergy. Alice is invited to their house, but death occurs the day after. George, Violet's uncle, is dead, apparently killed by the family's sunlight allergy. Having a strange vision about George's last moments, Alice decides that something fishy is going on and decides to investigate with Violet. The clues keep piling up: a letter signed with a mysterious initial, a grumpy guard, and a strange phone charger owned by a secretive boy. What may seem a little not relevant now, might turn out to be relevant later. All in all, I enjoyed this book. The characters were cool. It is intriguing to see Alice England, the somewhat naive person, who is smart but does not know some very basic things. She is so naive and funny. She is confused by elements of society, such as boba, which she says is "gummy tea", and chokes on the little tiny pearls. She is mystified by the strange skill of tact but tries to do it anyway to please Violet, with interesting results. The dialogue, too, is good, and Alice talks in a formal, matter-of-fact tone that is much remarked upon and different from other people. The writing style is also much cleaner than most other middle-grade authors. With an engaging mystery, interesting characters, and great style, The Deadly Daylight is a good book to read. More than that, it is deliciously macabre and will leave readers wanting for more about Alice England. With such high standards, the next book in the series is sure to be good too... People who enjoy a cozy mystery with elements of the supernatural will appreciate this middle-grade novel.

I loved this book! It is about how Lani and Sameed get captured in a mystyresly silent isaland and become slaves. Meanwhile Artim'e has dissipeard and it is up to Alex to restore Artim'e and become the new leader. This book is for ages 7 and up if you are a good reader. It is a fantasy action packed and emotionol book full of adventure. I the character Sameed got a little more bulky because he was a slave and he was working on the ship building. He got more brave because he wasn't with his friends and he was stranded on this island that wasn't home. He became more caring because him and Lani got separated and that made him feel sad, so that made him feel like needed to be with his friends. This book is the second unwanted book so be sure to read the first one first. Hope you love this book.

The main character Jonas lives in the future, in a small Community. It is a place without pain, where people are formal and have carefully outlined procedures for things, ranging from Rituals of Loss to Acceptances of Apologies. They follow rules or are formally chastised, or are even punished with the despised "Release", such a mark on the reputation of the family that is never talked about, when it is used as a punishment. On the day of the Ceremony of Twelve, where everyone is given their Assignment, which they have no say in, and which they will keep on doing for the rest of their life, Jonas is chosen to see beyond, acting as the Reciever. The Reciever is the one who holds the memories of countless generations. He is respected, as he holds the most important job of all, but the community rarely uses him. Instead, they usually persist in their traditions. As the Receiver in training, Jonas is given memories by the wise old Giver, the former Reciever. There is pain, but there is also love. As the memories keep coming, Jonas realizes things. He questions the world that he was brought up in. He grows more and more aware of how no one else in the society is like him or the Giver, and realizes that they are all like robots: brought up to not feel, to be precise in their language, and to have no emotions. He begins to wonder if everyone, not just him, should have feelings and emotions. But what can just two people do to change a society? I loved this book. The writing style, overall, was very direct, like the society itself, but the message was the more important part: it was really thought provoking, especially the end. Another perk is that the book was short, just 168 pages in my edition, so you can finish it in just a few days. I highly recommend this to dystopian lovers, but I could see how those who like fast-paced books such as The Hunger Games would prefer other books.
