Kids Books - Graphic Novels

I received a free copy of this book as a prize. I really like this. I read it last night. It has tidbits from Raina Telgemeier to help you write your own story. I learned that Smile and Sisters are based on her life. Now I want to read Smile. I like to write a lot. I write in my diary every day , and I am writing my own story. This will be good for my writing.

Author:Dav Pilkey Published:August 30,2018 Dog Man In the book Dog Man, the main character is Dog Man. Then there is Petey, an EVIL cat that tries to get rid of Dog Man. Petey was the one who created Dog Man by blowing them up. Dog Man is a cop that likes the chief so much that he gets in trouble for jumping on him. There is the mayor, and she tries to get the chief in trouble because she think she is the queen. Then there are these hot dogs that try to take over the world by getting a huge taco and ruling the city, but Dog Man saves the day by blowing up the taco with a can of living spray. Dog Man goes flying and so does Petey. Dog Man lands in the police station, and Petey land in Cat jail. Then things go back to normal. I think that people that like to read comic books and like to laugh while reading these books. This book would be a 2nd grade - 5th grade reading level book. I think most of the ages 8 - 12 year old would like this book.

I LOVE THIS SERIES!!! SO I THINK I’LL LIKE THIS BOOK!!!

Cece Bell, just a girl who tries to hide her hearing loss but with her old hearing aids, it's not always that easy, and she's tried to pass as a hearing person but she struggled with her deaf pride. Her friends, Emma Knight (only seen in first part of the story), Laura (been friends since 1st grade), Ginny W. (She's over-enancies her speech as she talks with Cece.), Martha C. (Friends since the summer of around 1980s.), and Mike Miller (Cece's friend and crush). Moving to new and different schools isn't always easy, she don't know bunch of kids there or over there. I just love of how there are bunnies replacing the people throughout Cece's book, it's so cute and interesting at the same time. El Deafo is based on true story of Cece Bell herself. I'm Deaf myself and I'm proud of my identity and I would love to see everyone else embrace their identities, either Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, or just simply Hearing, you are so special and don't let anyone deny that about you. - Happy Reading!

If you like adventure, cats or dogs, evil animals or people then this series is just for you! Dog man is a cop and he goes to jail for stealing money from the bank. Did dog man really steal money from the bank? His friends are there to find out who is behind this. The person or should I say people that is behind all this nonsense start a fire at the movie theater. Pete helps Cat kid (His clone) stop the bad guys. Who is behind all of this? Well you just have to read the book to find out more! Hey readers! I have read all the books and they are really good i ended up reading them like 10 times! I would say this book is for ages 8 and up!

This book is hilarious i was laughing like crazy when I read this book and the main character is Greg hefley and he is crushing on this girl and it seems so awkward because there always at the same place at the same time and all they do is wave to one and other

One piece is about pirates and slaves that clean the ship one slave has powers and his name is luffy he’s funny and cool I think one piece is cool and funny and a lot of action and blood. And a lot of lenged’s and sea monsters big ones

this book introduces ace. Fire fist ace. He is trying to track down luffy but you find this out in vol. 17. Spoiler alert..... He is luffy's brother but that is not that much of a spoiler because even luffy knows this. He wanted to talk to luffy and give him a note. Ace tells everyone he is on a quest for black beard. He wants to defeat him. So this is a good way they introduce ace in the manga. But that is just a side detail. The real story is luffy and the straw hat pirates are hunting down crocodile to save alabasta the kingdom of sand. Along the way they meet with a lot of good characters in this book. This is a really good book. If you have read the other one piece books read this one.

Meet Cosmoe, the Earth-Boy. He's captain of the Neon Wiener, the finest flying food truck in the galaxy. Along with his bud, Big Humphree, he spends his days cruising the cosmos and staying crazy busy. I like the idea that it involves food because i love to eat.

I gave this book a 5 star rating, because they worked as a group and didn't leave anyone out they all helped a lot with the bad kids. Kristy and her friends work great together, because they didn't get in argument and stood together as a team. Kristy had a crazy life, but thanks to her friends he life was less crazy. Kristy and her friends are great with kids, those are some reasons you should read this book.
