Kids Books - Graphic Novels

I am not the biggest fan of unicorns (no offense to unicorn lovers.) But when I get bored I like to read random books and this book it wasn't like most where they get along and everyone is surprised there is fantasy creature around but both of the main characters make fun of each other in a good way. Sometimes I will actually laugh. There's also the "Shield Of Boringness" and that's why not many people are surprised. I absolutely recommend this for younger age groups or just anyone who likes fantasy and unicorns. I also finished it just today and wrote a review on it almost right away. How do you think it would feel to be the only one to stop a being of pure evil? In the book Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling.The protagonist is Harry Potter a teenage wizard boy who lives with his aunt and uncle. They treat him like he doesn’t even exist and his room is a cupboard under the stairs. The reason he lives with these horrible people is because his parents died at the hand of the antagonist Voldemort the greatest evil in the wizarding world. I find the book very interesting and descriptive. The author did a very well job making this book and this series in general. There are parts that made me quite sad as important things went on. Such as how someone very dear to Harry died right in front of him or how he has to struggle through having a very mean and evil teacher controlling Hogwarts. There are a lot of twists and times where you don’t know what to expect. J.K. Rowling created pure perfection in a paper back cover that will most likely live on and entertain many generations to come and withstand the test of time. Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix was a very thick book with eight hundred seventy pages and definitely not the last nor biggest book in the series. So far this book is my favorite and I recommend it to anyone looking for a great and long read. I believe J.K. Rowling did a amazing job in describing areas, characters and magical creatures in the book and the whole series. I also believe that this is straight from the heart and mind of the author and will inspire many whether it be adult or child to pursue their dreams and to never give up on what they believe in. The characters are all filled with such description from the way they speak to their dreams that they wish to come true. When you first introduced to characters you get a description of what their wearing, what they look like and how they seem to appear in stater. The ending was both wrapped up well and made me want to read more from the other books. I know I will feel sad when I finish the last two books, but I will feel happy to have read these books. I suggest this book to someone between the ages of 7 to adult because this book has odd words some people may not be able to pronounce.

I love the wimpy kid books! They're all very funny, and they have great plots throughout the story. Here are some of my favorites in the series: Old school, Double down, Diary of a Wimpy kid, and Dog Days. I always read the Wimpy kid books in my spare time. But I recommend reading the books to yourself because tbh it doesn't have much words and when I was first introducing the book to my friend I read it aloud and my friend didn't like the book as much as she does now when she reads them to herself my other friends also agree that reading it to yourself makes the wimpy kid book seem better. But overall I love reading the wimpy kid books, the characters are very funny, I also like the movies, probably not as much as I like the books though because the books are sooooo good.

It's so amazing Petey the cat got an Ineterveiw on his life. It was so sad and great it's funny when Li"l Petey was singing about POOP with his friend Molly. But even more funny when Commander cupcake came up haha. But the theme is love lasts forever and ever well at least all the characters are a family even with Petey. But Grandpa no do not count him.

Jensen Graham can identify with many middle schoolers. Hates math, has trouble finding a seat at lunch, failing grades and doesn’t seem to belong. Jensen dreams of becoming an astronaut and exploring on Mars, and becoming a hero for his friends. Yet, Jensen ponders over whether his friends are really... friends? His art club friends make fun of him and call him names for fun. Jensen knows it’s not serious, and they are really his friends, but he’s still uncomfortable about it. Lately Jensen has been bullied by Foster and Yanic, two middle schoolers who love to bully others. They call him “fat and stupid”, and make mean jokes and leave notes so that Jensen can’t use evidence to tell on them. Jensen joins the newspaper crew to run away from Foster and Yanic, and they discuss this bullying issue further. When Jensen is given a survey, and the last question on it says, “Do you know someone that would save you a seat, or do you feel isolated or alone?” Jensen does not know how to answer, and his middle school life gets worse and worse. Can Jensen solve his problems? Or will life continue to go on like this?

I received a free copy of this book as a prize. I really like this. I read it last night. It has tidbits from Raina Telgemeier to help you write your own story. I learned that Smile and Sisters are based on her life. Now I want to read Smile. I like to write a lot. I write in my diary every day , and I am writing my own story. This will be good for my writing.
