In Rick Riordan’s latest book in the Heroes of Olympus series, The House of Hades has more action and adventure then ever before as Percy and Annabeth journey through Tartarus. Unsurprisingly, I really liked this book. Rick Riordan is one of my favorite authors, and I have been reading his books since I was in second grade. I love how he continues to mix mythology with the modern world. It is so cool to imagine the classic myths surrounding us in everyday life. This is a great series, with as much excitement, or more, than the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series. I love Riordan’s writing—each book in this series has been incredible. The only thing that I wasn’t very fond of was the book’s length. Sure, it’s full of action and battles and monster-killing, but after a few hundred pages there are just too many monster battles, and it can drag on. Riordan could’ve made it a little shorter than 583 pages. Other than that, I loved it. The setting and battles were very well described, and the characters’ physical conditions and emotions were cleverly portrayed. This book was a great fourth installment in the Heroes of Olympus series. I am so excited for the fifth and final book in the series to come out, but I am sad for the end of Percy Jackson’s story.

My main idea is how did Dink loss his money. My first detail is Dink's full name is Donald David Duncan. My second detail is they did something like a show Tyrone was shy when Dink said something about him. My third detail is that Tyrone took the money and put it in the Dino exchange. My connection is when my mom and sister take my money. I wish a lot of people read these books.

This book is beautiful. A great side story to the dog man universe, it shows what its like behind the scenes. It captures the same essence as a normal dog man book, but it feels different too. You get to see what children's imagination can lead them up to.

Who was Martin Luther King jr? You may ask. Here I'll tell you. He was a black man who wanted ALL people to have FAIR rights. But he was special he fought peacefully! Like in Boycotts and in Speeches he still didn't get what he wanted until he died. Sad right? Later on in his life he won the Noble Peace Prize for fighting peacefully! Martin Luther King Jr is a hero. Martin's famous speech ( You most likely Know the Name!) I Have a Dream. This was one of my favorite books! This is the perfect book for beginner minecrafters! There is a detailed list of mobs and what they drop when killed. A list of what animals eat (so you can use them in a farm!) How to make armor, tools, torches, beds, and lost just keeps going! Also it shows you how to make the perfect shelter for your first night. If I had to choose one word to describe this book, it would be: AWESOME! Hit rewind-- flashback time! The great-great-great grandfather of present day Stanley is chasing after a girl. Not just any girl, but the most beautiful girl in town. But someone else also wants to marry her- an old 60-year-old farmer! The only way to get her hand in marriage is to bring her father the largest, fattest pig. Not having something to bring, young Stanley goes to Madame Zeroni, who gives him directions to climb the mountain, and have a pig drink water from the river, while singing a special song. On the last day, he should bring Madame Zeroni up the mountain and have her drink while he sings the song. If he doesn't fulfill this, his whole family will be cursed. Stanley never carried Madame Zeroni up the mountain. Is the curse real? OK, fast-forward to now: Present-day Stanley Yelnats is an average boy, until one day fate hits him in the head. No, literally, it hit him in the head!😂 A pair of valuable sneakers fall out of the sky as Stanley is walking home from a hard day at school and the police believes Stanley stole them! He has a choice for punishment once he arrives in court: he can either go to jail, or go to Camp Greenlake. Easy decision, right? Camp Greenlake, of course! But Stanley soon figures out that this camp doesn't even have a lake! It's been long dried up. Every day at this camp Stanley must dig a 5 by 5 hole in the hard, crusty, desert ground. Not much better than jail! One boy nicknamed Zero asks Stanley to help him learn to read and write in exchange for help shoveling his hole. After Zero runs away, Stanley runs after him-- but they have no water. Can they survive, and will the curse finally be broken? And what are the holes kids have been forced to dig really for? This book was so good! The plotline flowed together, and I was hanging on the edge of my seat to read more! The story itself is brilliant, I would have never thought of it myself! 5/5❤

The Vanderbeekers kids; the twins, Isa and Jessie both are 13 years old, Oliver, 10 years old, Hyacinth, 8 years old, and lastly but not at least, Laney who is 6 years old. They lived in the brownstone apartment for whole of their lives, and it's practically another member of the Vanderbeekers family. They have pets, Franz, a dog, George Washington, a cat, and Prangini, a bunny. All were well until their landlord, Mr. Beiderman refused to renew their lease after 6 years of living there for Vanderbeekers. Papa Vanderbeeker as revealed lived in Harlem for all of his childhood, which was actually hoping to have his children to live for whole of their childhood in the Harlem, too. Ever since when the news broke out that Mr. Beiderman refuses to renew their lease, the Vanderbeekers doing as much as they could to save their home. You'll meet people like, Mr. Van Hooten, Isa's violin teacher, Auntie Harrigan and Uncle Arthur, Miss Josie, Mr. Jeet, Angie, the Castlemans, Benny and his parents (Benny is 8th grader and Isa is in 7th grade), etc. In the ending, Benny finally asked Isa out for the dance and the Vanderbeekers also got invited into the Mr. Beiderman's apartment after those long years and the Vanderbeekers barely even know him until they found the truth in the newspapers and people. - Happy Reading!
