The Fever Code: Book Five; Prequel (The Maze Runner Series)

The Fever Code: Book Five; Prequel (The Maze Runner Series)

By James Dashner

Yet another marvelous book by author James Dashner! This story takes place after The Kill Order. It tells of Thomas’s life before the Maze, and about his friends. You learn their backgrounds, and there are some very surprising twists in here! The end makes me upset, because someone betrays Thomas, or maybe 2 people betray him, I’m not exactly sure. But in The Death Cure, the very same person/people save Thomas! Anyways, this was an amazing book that is sure to satisfy your Maze Runner questions! Enjoy!

A Summer to Die

A Summer to Die

By Lois Lowry

Papaya

This book captures the sweet rounded feel of summer, along with the sibling rivalry that is hidden beneath all sibling relationships. It captures the harrowing feeling of loss, and the echoes left behind from Molly. It speaks of how much a life can be changed by a simple move, a loss, in a short amount of time. Meg learns what it means to be beautiful. I certainly recommend.

Hidden Window Mystery

Hidden Window Mystery

By Carolyn Keene

I love Nancy Drew mysteries, and this one is great as well! Nancy Drew is searching for a missing window which she read about in a newspaper. I like how the the characters in this book are intertwined, and even though in the beginning nothing seems to make sense, everything lines up in the end.

Whispering Statue

Whispering Statue

By Carolyn Keene

Another great Nancy Drew book! The answer to the mystery is very clever, and the book is pretty enjoyable. Nancy's father has a client who needs a mystery to be solved. The mystery involves an art seller, that does not seem to be paying people for the books he buys from them. Nancy adopts a disguise and goes down to discover the answer to the mystery.

The Crooked Banister (Nancy Drew Mystery Stories, No. 48)

The Crooked Banister (Nancy Drew Mystery Stories, No. 48)

By Carolyn Keene

I did enjoy this book. However, I feel that I would have enjoyed it more if I had not read other Nancy Drew books previously. The format of the Nancy Drew books are all very similar. There is always more than one mystery that she solves, and despite the fact they don't seem alike at all they always have to do with eachother. Despite this, the substance of each mystery is very different from book to book, and even the same mysteries in one book seem pretty different. Nancy tries to locate the owner of a large house that contains spooky paintings, a creepy robot, and is very crooked. If you want to understand why.. . read the book!

Ruby Wizardry: An Introduction to Programming for Kids

I LOVED THIS BOOK! It was really amazing. This is one of the best coding books I've read. Not only does it teach you the Ruby programming language, but it also adds a story in it, which makes it easier to understand. I really recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn Ruby.
