There is a door at the end of a silent corridor. And it's haunting Harry Potter's dreams. Why else would he be waking in the middle of the night, screaming in terror?
It's not just the upcoming O.W.L. exams; a new teacher with a personality like poisoned honey; a venomous, disgruntled house-elf; or even the growing threat of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. Now Harry Potter is faced with the unreliability of the very government of the magical world and the impotence of the authorities at Hogwarts.
Despite this (or perhaps because of it), he finds depth and strength in his friends, beyond what even he knew; boundless loyalty; and unbearable sacrifice.
This gorgeous new edition in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the publication of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone features a newly designed cover illustrated by Caldecott Medalist Brian Selznick, as well as the beloved original interior decorations by Mary GrandPré.

Mysterious
J.K Rowling is one my favorite authors in the world. If you like wizards you will love this book. This is my favorite book in the series.
I can only read the illustration version of Harry Potter so I have not read the fifth book. But I have got so many spoilers.
I have read all of the Harry Potter books. When I was done with the books. I felt like the Harry Potter characters were my friends. I read the books a lot.

WARNING: SPOILERS INCLUDED After reading The Goblet of Fire, I thought the series could not get better. It did. And The Order of the Phoenix, where Harry faces the unreliability of pretty much the whole Wizarding World, has to top anyone's list of favorite books. Every chapter had a new surprise and the plot could not have gotten any better. It all starts when some dementors attack Harry, and using the Patronus Charm to defend himself almost causes his suspension from Hogwarts. This happens while Harry is trying to figure out why Dumbledore has shutted him from the rest of the Wizarding World, and happens when the Minister of Magic himself has created a rivalry with Dumbledore. Just when things couldn't possibly get worse, they do. At Hogwarts, a horrible Defense against the Dark Arts teacher awaits him (perhaps worse than Snape), and of course, Voldemort does too. He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named had returned, and Harry feels like he is being used. That might just be true, but with Dumbledore shutting himself out, almost the whole Wizarding World against him, and more problems at Hogwarts, will Harry have what it takes to fight Voldemort, and more importantly, does he have to accept defeat this time around? Or will he once again step up and overcome Voldemort for the 5th time in the series?

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, by J. K. Rowling, tells the magical story of Harry, Ron, and Hermione’s journey to the Department of Mysteries thinking that Harry’s godfather, Sirius Black, was getting tortured by Voldemort. Harry saves his cousin from dementors during the summer using magic, but using magic in front of muggles is against the law. Then Tonks, Moody, Kingsley, and Lupin and some others escort Harry to Number 12 Grimmauld Place because Harry needed to get to his hearing early and they couldn’t get him on the day of his hearing. Harry learns about the Order of the Phoenix the night he comes during dinner. A while later, Arthur takes Harry to work with him the day of the hearing. In the hearing, it is decided that Harry did not use his magic improperly. When he comes back from his hearing, they get their Hogwarts letters. Hermione and Ron get Prefect badges with their letters. Soon after, they get on the Hogwarts train and go to school. Dolores Umbridge was the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher for Harry’s fifth year. She is from the Ministry of Magic. She banned all defensive spells on Fudge’s, the Minister of Magic, demand. Fudge thinks that Dumbledore is planning an attack on the Ministry. So, Harry gathers some friends and starts a Defence group. Harry has been having dreams about Voldemort since his first year at Hogwarts. Now, Harry is having dreams that Voldemort is torturing Sirius. Harry believes that the dreams are real because earlier that year, he dreamt that Ron’s dad was attacked by a snake, and he was. The Harry Potter series is very exciting. You never know what will happen next. I really liked this book. If you like magic and adventure, you will, too! To find out what really happened to Sirius, read the book!
