As Nikki attends a new private school, due to her dad's extermination contract, Nikki does everything in her power to prevent people from finding out. She makes new friends, Chloe Garcia, and Zoey Franklin who help throughout the story, whether it's defending her from Mackenzie, helping her with the Avant-Garde competition, our spying on her and Brandon Roberts, you know they'll be there. IN the end, Nikki learns that it's cool to be a dork! I give this book five stars because Russell uses humor and things many of us could relate to too tell the story.

This is such and awesome book. This author is so awesome. It is about a kid named Nikki Maxewell and her school West Country Day High School(I think that is the name).
This is one of my FAVORITE authors of all time! Her books are amazing and she really makes me feel like it's actually Nikki writing in her diary. This book is about a girl named Nikki Maxwell, and she just moved so she has to go to a different middle school.While in this middle school, lots of things happen. She meets her two BFF's named Chloe and Zoey, she finds her prince charming (Brandon), and she meets the middle school mean girl, Mackenzie. In her diary there are tons of stories, all summarizing how her day was. One of these stories include Nikki going against Mackenzie in an art contest. If it weren't for this book coming out I wouldn't be reading the whole series, and that would be terrible! I'm very thankful that this amazing book was published.

This book is similar to the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, but different in its own way. This is the first book in the series. It follows Niki Maxwell in a new middle school. However, she must face Mackenzie. I would reccomend this to fans of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series.
This is a great book about Nikki Maxwell who wants an iPhone for her birthday but when she gets a diary instead she gets upset. On top of that Mackenzie Hollister, finds out. She is in middle school and Mackenzie has a lot of friends so the rumor goes around quickly. How does Nikki react? Read the book to find out.
This book is really good and entertaining and perfect for girls. It is also very funny and made me laugh and I totally recommend it!
